Malagasy YBN 2030: A youth that influences policies, transforms territories, and shapes the future of biodiversity.

In Madagascar, young people have an essential role to play in protecting biodiversity. Malagasy YBN aims to provide them with greater means to make their voices heard, strengthen their organizations, and take action alongside communities and institutions. By 2030, our ambition is to bridge international commitments and local realities, making young people a driving force for proposals, influence, and action.
About us
Malagasy Youth Biodiversity Network “Malagasy YBN” is the national chapter of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN) in Madagascar. Created in May 2017, Malagasy YBN works to implement the vision and mission of this international platform in the Malagasy context. The organization brings together young people aged 18 to 35 who are committed to the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity.
To create a world where humanity lives in perfect harmony with nature, in order to ensure sustainable development for future generations.
To empower and mobilize young people to become key actors in the sustainable and equitable management of biodiversity by actively engaging in volunteering and voluntary service.
